Oishi noticeably started from Niou's aside, still coming down from the spike of anxiety Yukimura's smackdown sent through him. It was silly; they'd been through the World Cup together. Yukimura had even forgiven him for accidentally cheering for Tezuka during their match. He was dignified, soft-spoken, cordial. There shouldn't be any reason to-- but Yukimura commanded it anyway. Was this the strength of the glue that held Rikkai together?

"Niou! That's..." Entirely too accurate a callout. Oishi sighed. "You're right." He had to pull himself together. He was one of the vice-captains here!

Marui answered Niou with a bubble blow in his face, not a trace of nervousness to be found.

Yukimura had to give credit to Momoshiro for having the balls to challenge him, however gently. He wasn't having it, of course, but it was a good reminder of Momoshiro's mental strength. This was, after all, the same middle schooler who pushed through a match against Oni while having wrist injuries in both hands. He had guts in spades; that deserved some respect.

"I see," Yukimura said shortly. "In that case, this should help you out. This is a good form of mental training as well."

It was a decent try, but Yukimura needed his message to be crystal clear so it didn't need repeating. Nipping any temptation to slack in the bud would help everyone get the most out of this camp.
