Summary: Abi is going to redeem the entire legacy of Seiryuu. Watch him.
A - Open/Before amulet theft
Well, the park had looked deserted.
The forest was more likely to genuinely be deserted, but Shin-Ah and Shu-Ten were such woodsmen, and Abi wasn't... quite ready to test himself against them, yet. So he was practicing with his sword there in the park.
He'd wrapped several layers of rope and fabric around a sturdy-looking tree trunk, to give himself a target without damaging the tree itself. Even so, most of his blows stop just short of actual contact. There's a clear hesitation in each swing. It's not the weight-- he's managed to re-acclimate to that, but the fear of causing injury... Even though he's passively watched Guen and Shu-Ten enough times, it's been a long time since he caused physical damage himself. Suddenly, it's distasteful.
B - After his amulet is stolen
With Chisa's encouragement to prove that his powers aren't a curse... why hasn't Abi done something like this sooner? Oh, he's offered to help people find things, to let them look through his eyes, but that's passive. Reactionary. He is the general of an entire fifth of Kouka Kingdom, he can do better. He will do better.
B-1 - Open
"Your heart rate is entirely too elevated."
That is Abi's blunt greeting to you, the person he stops on the streets of Verens. He offers a glass of water and gestures toward a chair in the shade of a nearby tree. His small pet bird chirps invitingly.
"Is it getting quicker...?" Abi was already frowning, but it intensifies. It doesn't occur to him that you might be nervous because he's suddenly talking about your heart like he can... see it or something?
"Sit. Drink something. Perhaps I can get you something with more nutritional value...?"
B-2 - Open
"There is a change purse containing about three hundred sylvs to your right. In the storm drain, below the lamp post. I am sure there's a way to pry off the grate."
There is also a blue-haired, golden-eyed young man to your left, vaguely indicating that direction. "Is that what you were looking for?"
Not that he's especially certain you were looking for anything, but you were looking, right? Perhaps down the street, into a window, at a clock...
"Ah, or was it for the small white cat on the next block over, the one looking through the trash behind the seafood restaurant? I am sure we can catch it if we hurry. There is also a sale going on at the clothing boutique next door to it, but I would not recommend going there. From here I can tell you that the workmanship is shoddy, and the stitching very weak."
He's helping!

After all of that, Abi makes an unexpected trip to where Yona holds court.
