Yukimura obeys, his face rigid with the attempt not to betray his annoyance where Keita might notice it. He doesn't really seem to notice Yukimura's attempts to help, but Yukimura is fairly certain he'd notice any hint of negativity, and he still wants the Maruis to feel welcome.

Yukiko stumbles into the room with her uniform on but hair unbrushed, and sits at the table, ignoring the crying baby and also Yukimura's daughter. Her earplugs were safe under her pillow, and she regretted it.
