Yukiko frowns but shakes her head.

"It's twisty... and feels weird," she offers, not sure how else to describe it. "But it's not in my throat."

She sits up a little, and while she has Daddy's ear and Daddy's friend isn't around to hear, she lets herself be a little honest.

"My ears hurt because it's loud here," she says. "It's quieter at home." Home, of course, still meaning Uncle Jackal's house to her.
