"Seiichi doesn't agree with you, he apparently finds it very comedic," Yanagi said, and Sanada had to grudgingly admit that was good enough. They both infinitely preferred Yukimura's good moods.

"But from what you say, you weren't even holding hands. I don't know who had the time or even the motivation to twist things so egregiously," Sanada said. "There ought to be a rule."

"It's just the nature of information," said Yanagi. "Oral traditions always have some flair added as they're passed along, depending on the speaker. My favorite so far is the variant where you and Von Aegir continued holding hands for the remainder of the class period, but my source on that has verifiably not been in the same class as you since fourth grade, so I gave it as much credibility as Niou."

"No one outside the underwater basket weaving club is promoting that version, and no one believes them anyway," Yanagi said confidently. "The lack of oxygen to their brains for extended lengths of time says it all, really."
