"Akaya, this should be your responsibility, not Bunta's," Jackal scolded. Bunta was by far the best at putting people at ease, but Akaya was a second year now, and should know better!
"Go hand out the registration forms so they can start filling them out before they reach the head of the line," he ordered.
Akaya scoffed, but not until Jackal-senpai's back was turned.
"I should be practicing," he muttered.
"And you think Bunta shouldn't?!"
"How can you hear so well?!" Akaya yelped, and quickly ran down the line, shoving papers at the first years along the way. Man, how scrawny were they? He wasn't that scrawny a year ago, no way. And nobody really stuck out the way he had. Nobody was really trying to stick out, and that was boring.
Only one guy even had a tennis bag, and a hat too, which was probably smart, given it would be hot soon. Akaya handed him his form, too.
"Hurry up and get everything filled out before you get to Marui-senpai at the head of the line!" he called, trying to give his voice the same force as Sanada-senpai's. "We don't have all day to waste on you!"
